Yesterday, (9/05) was my baby's birthday. Oh, yeah, running blog...after 23 long days of no running, I hopped on the treadmill for a test run. I ran one mile to see how my calf would feel today. After my 1 mile run, I did 20 minutes of Shred with Jillian. So, today my calf feels fair, but my quads and especially my hamstrings are so sore (from Jillian!). Now that I have that one miler under my belt with no serious issues, I plan on 3-4 on Wednesday. If all is well on Friday morning, I plan on a long (10-12 miles) run. Wish me luck. With less that 3 weeks to the 1/2, and more that 6 weeks since my last long run, I'm getting a bit nervous!
